This website is operated by The Butcher Boys AU. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Butcher Boys AU. The Butcher Boys AU offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.
SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS, Click & Collect Orders, Pre-Order Pickups, DELIVERY Orders + SERVICE FEES
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
In purchasing any product(s) and/or service(s) from this online ordering system/website and/or any delivery-based order and/or pre-orders purchased via other channels e.g. via phone call and/or mobile phone text, you (the client/purchaser) agree to all the following Terms & Conditions:
* We DELIVER to NSW customer areas/regions that are within an approaching travelling distance of 80 km from our store location in, Rockdale, NSW 2216. We DO NOT deliver beyond this point, through this online ordering platform.
For any delivery orders that require delivery outside of this approaching travelling distance of 80 km, you will need to contact our store, to determine if this is possible, as this online ordering system/website will automatically reject any purchase that does not fit within this approaching distance criteria.
Pickup from our store, is an alternative on the condition of full payment to us for your pre-order (which can be made via Click & Collect or phone call using the allowable card type). Upon arrival to our store, to receive your order, you (the client/purchaser) will need to present the same card used to make the purchase & valid I.D. e.g., a NSW Driver Licence.
DELIVERY orders made through this online ordering platform, will be delivered to you the NEXT BUSINESS DAY, as long as your order is placed before 8:00 pm on the previous day of your selected delivery date & after receiving payment for your order, between Monday - Saturday only, during operational business days (therefore, not including any closure periods and/or Sunday, unless specified). Any such order placed after 8:00 pm during our operational period, will be available for delivery, a minimum of 2 BUSINESS DAYS after the date of placing your order (except, if your order is placed after 8:00 pm on Friday & Saturday, it will be delivered on Monday & if your order is placed after 8:00 pm on Sunday, your order will be delivered on Tuesday).
We also offer the ability to select your preferred delivery date in advance (that is, upto 90 BUSINESS DAYS, except, during closure periods), ensuring that your order is delivered precisely when it suits you best.
You will be contacted, at some point, by the delivery driver when your delivery order is in motion. All orders will be delivered in due course, unless there are unforeseen circumstances out of our control, in which case, you will be notified.
Delivery Fees:
For suburbs within 0 - 5 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $5 for a minimum order value of $100.
For suburbs within 5.1 - 10 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $10 for a minimum order value of $120.
For suburbs within 10.1 - 20 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $15 with a minimum order value of $150.
For suburbs within 20.1 - 30 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $20 for a minimum order value of $250.
For suburbs within 30.1 - 40 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $20 for a minimum order value of $300.
For suburbs within 40.1 - 45 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $20 for a minimum order value of $350.
For suburbs within 45.1 - 50 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $20 for a minimum order value of $400.
For suburbs within 50.1 - 60 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $20 for a minimum order value of $450.
For suburbs within 60.1 - 80 km from our Rockdale store location, delivery is $20 for a minimum order value of $600.
* STORE PICKUP / Click & Collect orders made through this online ordering platform, will be completed & available for collection, on the SAME DAY, as long as your order is placed before 12:00 pm on the SAME DAY you would like to pickup your order & after receiving payment for your order, between Monday - Saturday only, during operational business days (therefore, not including any closure periods and/or Sunday, unless specified). Any such order placed after 12:00 pm during our operational period & placed at any time whilst closed e.g. on a regular Sunday, will be ready for collection on the NEXT BUSINESS DAY, after the date of placing your order.
We also offer you the ability to select your preferred pickup date in advance (that is, upto 90 BUSINESS DAYS, except, during closure periods), ensuring that you collect your order precisely when it suits you best.
In some cases, you will be notified once your order is ready for pickup. All orders will be ready for pickup in due course, unless there are unforeseen circumstances out of our control, in which case, you will be notified.
* This online ordering system/website is subject to a DELIVERY FEE (for all delivery-based purchase orders), in relation to every purchase order, made through this channel. This additional fee will be used to cover costs set by our 3rd-party service provider/delivery partner including any costs involved, that are in relation to, operating our own delivery service. Our online ordering system/website is pre-set to automatically charge these types of relevant fee(s) mentioned with every purchase order, to cover these fees/costs and we do not aim to make a profit.
* In relation to STORE PICKUP / Click & Collect purchase orders made through this online ordering system/website, you will NOT be charged any FEES.
* Any ‘Special Instructions’ noted/requested by any customer, will only be fulfilled, if possible, is realistic & within reason, as determined by us (the service provider). You will be notified via phone and/or email contact in the case that any requested ‘special instructions’ will not be fulfilled.
* In any case, where any specific brands are not available in relation to branded-product(s) that you have ordered, an alternative brand will be provided at the same value/price.
* In any case, where any product(s) are not available at all, that you have ordered, you will be contacted by phone or email, before finalising your order.
* An order reference will be provided with every purchase order made through this online ordering system/website. Once your order has been placed, you will receive a notification via email. Once you have received your order, you will receive a final email, confirming the completion of your order. Every purchase order made through this online ordering system/website must be paid in full via the electronic payment services platform(s) provided on this online ordering system/website, before the processing of any purchase order is to begin and to, therefore, finalise/complete any purchase order.
* In relation to delivery-based orders made through this online ordering system/website and/or any delivery-based orders purchased via other channels e.g. via phone call and/or mobile phone text, upon arriving to your destination/delivery location, the client/purchaser (you) will need to be present & provide identification in the form of a valid NSW Driver Licence or valid NSW Photo I.D. Card and the credit/debit card (must be valid) used to make the purchase order on this online ordering system/website. If you (the client) is present and sufficient I.D. is NOT provided upon arrival to your destination/delivery location, your order will not be provided to you (the client) & it will be returned to our store, based in Rockdale, NSW 2216, unless your identity can be verified through other methods/channels that we deem necessary.
* In relation to delivery-based orders, if you (the client/purchaser) are not present to accept the delivery order, your order will be returned to our store, unless another arrangement that we deem appropriate, can be agreed to upon arrival, by you (the client and/or your designated representative), us (the service provider) and/or our 3rd-party service provider.
If it is agreed upon by you (the client and/or your designated representative), us (the service provider) and/or our 3rd-party service provider, to leave the purchased goods unattended/not received by you (the client and/or your designated representative) at the designated delivery location and/or any agreed location, we (the service provider) and/or our 3rd-party service provider, will not be responsible for any missing, lost and/or stolen goods.
If it is decided by us (the service provider) and/or our 3rd-party service provider, that your order will need to return to our store, you will need to organise your own pickup of your purchase order from our store, based in Rockdale, NSW 2216. Upon pickup from this/our store, you (the client/purchaser) will need to verify your identity with a NSW Driver Licence or valid NSW Photo I.D. Card and the credit/debit card (must be valid) used to make the purchase order. If you (the client/purchaser) are unable to provide sufficient I.D. upon arrival, your order will not be provided to you, unless your identity can be verified through other methods/channels that we deem necessary.
* In relation to STORE PICKUP / Click & Collect orders made through this online ordering system/website and/or any pre-orders purchased via other channels e.g. via phone call and/or mobile phone text, the client/purchaser (you) will need to present & provide identification in the form of a valid NSW Driver Licence or valid NSW Photo I.D. Card and the credit/debit card (must be valid) used to make the purchase order. If this person is does not present and sufficient I.D. is not provided upon arrival, your order will not be provided to you, unless your identity can be verified through other methods/channels that we deem necessary, upon arrival, at our Rockdale, NSW 2216 store location.
* In relation to delivery-based orders made through this online ordering system/website and/or any delivery-based orders purchased via other channels e.g. via phone call and/or mobile phone text, all of our raw meat & chicken goods, dips, frozen foods, small goods, salads and any products that we supply with any purchase order which require refrigeration or freezer storage, require a certain temperature & environment once these items depart from our store location in, Rockdale, NSW 2216.
All delivery-based orders will either be packed with ice and/or delivered by a registered food delivery vehicle in-line with the current rules/laws of the relevant governing body in NSW. It is the responsibility of the person accepting the purchase order, to maintain the relevant temperature & environment upon accepting the items purchased/delivered. Meaning, these items must be stored in a fridge, freezer or closed portable cooler such as closed cooler bag (with ice) or closed Esky (with ice) under the correct temperature immediately upon delivery (that is, between 0 to 5 degrees for all refrigerated products & a minimum of MINUS 18 degrees for all frozen goods).
In relation to Store Pickup / Click & Collect purchase orders and/or any pre-order purchase orders, the exact same storage procedures & temperature requirements should be applied (as mentioned above), upon leaving our store location. The consumer (you) is solely responsible for applying/meeting all of these procedures & requirements.
In relation to all items purchased from our store, there are a number of practices that will need to applied by you (the client/purchaser) with regards to handling, storage, cooking & consumption, especially, once goods have left our store and are in your possession.
- Items requiring further cooking, that will NOT be cooked/consumed immediately, will need to be handled & stored accordingly:
1) All freshly-prepared products that include Beef (including Wagyu Beef), Lamb, Chicken & Fish, will need to be frozen (at a minimum of MINUS 18 degrees) within 1 day of being received by you (the client/purchaser). Beef (including Wagyu Beef) & Lamb can last upto 1 year in the freezer at this temperature level, Chicken can last upto 6 months at this temperature level & Fish can last upto 3 months at this temperature level.
2) All packaged items that have been produced by one of our suppliers and have been RE-SOLD by our company, please refer to the label for further instructions on cooking, storage and expiry date details such as our various types of salami.
Note: The above points do NOT relate to our Ready-to-Eat and Salad products (please read further below for details on these items).
- Items requiring further cooking + Ready-to-Eat & Salad Products:
1) All freshly-prepared products that include Beef (including Wagyu Beef), Lamb & Chicken, that have purchased from our company, which require further cooking, need to be cooked properly and consumed by you (the client/purchaser) within 2 days of cooking. Anything beyond this, will need to be discarded.
2) All freshly-prepared products, that have been purchased from our company, that are Ready-to-Eat e.g. Lebanese Raw Kibbi Tray, need to be consumed by you (the client/purchaser) within 1 day of receiving the item(s). Anything beyond this, will need to be discarded.
3) All freshly-prepared Salad products, that have been purchased from our company, need to be consumed by you (the client/purchaser) within 2 days of receiving the item(s). Anything beyond this, will need to be discarded.
* In relation to all delivery orders that have been delivered to you (the client) by our delivery partner/our 3rd-party service provider, we are not responsible for any issues that may arise during the processes of this service. All delivery orders are packed into cartons & sealed before leaving our Store/Distribution Centre. So, if there appears to be evidence of any tampering or missing items from your delivery order (as a result of tampering), please contact our delivery partner/our 3rd-party service provider, directly. The contact details of our delivery partner/our 3rd-party service provider, will be provided via email and/or text message(s), as apart of your delivery order notifications.
* Refunds will not be provided for change of mind. Refunds are limited and will only be provided where permitted under Australian Consumer Law. If you have incorrectly placed an order for any item(s), a refund will only be provided for the item(s), upon attending our store location, with the same payment card used for the purchase and you will be required to provide sufficient identification (NSW Driver Licence), for security reasons. Should your circumstances satisfy those requirements, a refund will be provided. You will need to call our main store phone number on (02) 9567 5019 to raise any issues/claims that may arise with your purchase order or delivery experience.
SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the Service is provided, without express written permission by us.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. Certain products or Services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or Services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Refund Policy.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or Service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, Services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
